WWII GERMAN WAFFEN SS M40 PANZER OFFICER'S OVERSEAS CAP

WWII German Waffen SS M40 Panzer Officers overseas cap. This desirable cap is extremely well-preserved and constructed of thick black wool with fold-down scalloped panels to the front and side. The scallop is piped in a silver aluminum mesh piping that is excellent. The front of the cap has machine woven insignia of silver flat wire over black. Both the eagle and Totenkopf are issue free and properly hand applied. The interior is fully lined in a soft, field gray cotton that is in excellent condition. The size, 59, and maker mark is lightly ink stamped onto the lining. Overall an excellent example of a highly sought after cap that's free of evident flaws and is in an extremely fine condition. This one wont last long!
